NJN Fitness is a personal training and fitness company based in Darlington in the North East of England who provides a first-class training experience across the local area.
NJN Fitness is the brainchild of Nathan Newton who set up the company in 2017. Nathan studied a Diploma in Heath and Fitness at Darlington College where he has qualified in varying aspects of Personal Training, Gym Instruction and Nutrition to name a few and is also registered on the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) Level 3.
Nathan’s interest in fitness and sport started early in life when he started to learn Mixed Martial Arts rising up through the various grades until he was awarded his Junior Shodan (Black Belt) in March 2012. Nathan is currently taking a sabbatical from training to concentrate on growing NJN Fitness and his other love of Rugby. Having started playing junior rugby in 2011 with Darlington Mowden Park he quickly became a key member of the team and won many competitions and accolades and played representative rugby for South Durham District. Nathan has now moved onto senior rugby and can be seen playing every Saturday for Mowden Park second XV. Nathan’s greatest achievement in rugby was to play at the Sixways stadium, home of premiership rugby side Worcester Warriors, in the final of the 2016/17 National Cup.

As well as 1:1 sessions, NJN Fitness also caters for groups through our boot camp packages and also offers dietary & nutritional advice.
Nathan also offers training programs for juniors and online training sessions. The juniors programme calls on Nathan’s wide experience of Junior Rugby (the programmes are specifically designed to help local teams be match fit whatever their sport and level) and the online training is an adapted fitness session for those who cannot find the time to attend a 1:1 session or boot camp and would prefer to train in the comfort of their own home.
